Chile Mine Workers are in Trouble
In Chile mine workers got trapped in a mine. They have been stuck there since August 5th. The workers were not supposed to be rescued until sometime in November. They have been able to survive through a metal pipe. People outside drop down food and supplies to help them live until they are able to get them out. They also have a phone line connected to where they are, so they can talk to their family and loved ones. When the time comes for the workers to be rescued their families, friends, and people all over the world will hold their breaths to see what happens. The process of the workers being saved is very dangerous. The chances of them being saved is 50/50. The reason for this is because in order to save the workers they will have to widen the hole. If the rocks aren't stable they could break, fall down and kill the workers. What do you think they should do about this situation?

Even though the process seems dangerous, it is probably the best way to go through this proccess. It is dangerous, but hopefully it will work.
ReplyDeleteI think they should go for it. The process seens dangerous but they can not live down in the mine forever. Hopefully the workers can be returned to their families.
