New Planet with Human Life?

For the first time in history astronomers have found another planet like Earth that can support life. This is known as the Goldilocks zone for life. This planet is just perfect like ours. It is not to close or far away from the sun. It is not to hot or to cold. It is the perfect distance away from its main star so it can hold water. The newly discovered planet is in a galaxy close by. The plant is located right in the middle of the habitable zone. It is unlike any of the other 500 planets that astronomers have found in that zone. Finding another planet with life would be an amazing accomplishment towards our science. Are we the only planet out there with human life?

Speed Bump or Illusion

In West Vancouver, Canada is apparently not satisfied with its original speed bump. The officials decided to come up with a new way to scare and slow drivers down. They have created a 3D picture of a little girl with a ball that appears to rise up as you get the closer. The picture looks pretty real and would defiantly make you slow down. The only problem with this is if people get accustomed to it when it is a real little kid they might not realize it and hit the child. Do you think this new invention is a good one that will be affective? The Rocket in Court

Roger Clemens went to court about a month ago for allegedly lying under oath to congress about his steroid use. The Rocket is accused of lying under oath 15 different times about his alleged use of steroids and human growth hormones (HGH). The judge for this court hearing will be Reggie Walton. Clemens retired a couple years ago. He was a great player and won 7 Cy Young Awards, but all of this may be fainted by his alleged steroid and HGH use. This may cost him from getting in the Hall of Fame. Roger has continuously denied using steroids and HGH,  but if he is found guilty he could face up to 30 years in jail with fines up to 1.5 million dollars. What would you do if you were in Roger Clemens (aka The Rocket) and in his position?

Chile Mine Workers are in Trouble

In Chile mine workers got trapped in a mine. They have been stuck there since August 5th. The workers were not supposed to be rescued until sometime in November. They have been able to survive through a metal pipe. People outside drop down food and supplies to help them live until they are able to get them out. They also have a phone line connected to where they are, so they can talk to their family and loved ones. When the time comes for the workers to be rescued their families, friends, and people all over the world will hold their breaths to see what happens. The process of the workers being saved is very dangerous. The chances of them being saved is 50/50. The reason for this is because in order to save the workers they will have to widen the hole. If the rocks aren't stable they could break, fall down and kill the workers. What do you think they should do about this situation?
